Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Beijing on a four-day visit to attend the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics. On the last day, he met President Xi Jinping.
In this meeting, Imran also talked about the bottlenecks in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the repeated attacks on Chinese workers. Regarding Kashmir, it was said on behalf of China that it opposes any unilateral action and called for resolving the Kashmir issue properly and peacefully.

meeting, Xi said that China supports Pakistan in defending national independence, sovereignty, dignity and fighting terrorism, according to Xinhua news agency. China is ready to join hands with Pakistan to advance the development of CPEC and ensure the smooth continuation of major projects.
